JESUS IS OUR JUBILEE
Luke 4:14-21; Isaiah 61:1-2; Leviticus 25:1-13
Luke 4:14-21 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.  (15) And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.  (16) And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up for to read.  (17) And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,  (18) The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,  (19) To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.  (20) And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.  (21) And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.
Isa 61:1-2 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;  (2) To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
Lev 25:1-13  And the LORD spake unto Moses in mount Sinai, saying,  (2)  Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a Sabbath unto the LORD.  (3)  Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof;  (4)  But in the seventh year shall be a Sabbath of rest unto the land, a Sabbath for the LORD: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.  (5)  That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it is a year of rest unto the land.  (6)  And the Sabbath of the land shall be meat for you; for thee, and for thy servant, and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant, and for thy stranger that sojourneth with thee,  (7)  And for thy cattle, and for the beast that are in thy land, shall all the increase thereof be meat.  (8)  And thou shalt number seven Sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven Sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years.  (9)  Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.  (10)  And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.  (11)  A jubilee shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed.  (12)  For it is the jubilee; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field.  (13)  In the year of this jubilee ye shall return every man unto his possession.

The acceptable year of the Lord was the great Jubilee or the fiftieth year of Lev. 25 the year everyone went free!
Jesus preached the acceptable year of the Lord for today.
He was telling them they didn't have to be poor, brokenhearted, captive, blind or bruised.
That day, the Jubilee became a Person not just a year in time.
Jesus preached under the anointing –– (Acts 10:38) "how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.”
The anointing was there to accomplish what was preached.

OUR JUBILEE HAS COME!
A. Jesus said, I will send another Comforter.
B. Jesus, the Head of the Church, is sending ministers anointed of the Spirit to preach in His Name.

SOUND YOUR TRUMPET OF FREEDOM!(Ex 19:16) Then it came to pass on the third day, in the morning, that there were thunderings and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain; and the sound of the trumpet was very loud, so that all the people who were in the camp trembled.
(Jdgs 7:18) "When I blow the trumpet, I and all who are with me, then you also blow the trumpets on every side of the whole camp, and say, 'The sword of the LORD and of Gideon!"

A. Freedom from slavery to Satan
(Rom 6:14) For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.…
(Eph 1:17) that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.
(Eph 2:17) And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near.

B. Freedom from sickness and disease
(Deut 28:61) Also every sickness and every plague, which is not written in this Book of the Law, will the LORD bring upon you until you are destroyed.
(Gal 3:13) Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree")

C. Freedom from debt to Satan and to the world's system (Col 2:13-14) And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, {14} having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.

D. Freedom from fear(1John 2:5) But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.…(1John 4:17-18) Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. {18} There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

E. Commandment of blessing(Lev 25:20-21) 'And if you say, "What shall we eat in the seventh year, since we shall not sow nor gather in our produce?" {21} 'Then I will command My blessing on you in the sixth year, and it will bring forth produce enough for three years.
(Deut 28:8) "The LORD will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the LORD your God is giving you.
(Gal 3:13-14) Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree"), {14} that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.…
(Eph 1:3) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.

F. Jesus came into our sorrow to lead us into the Jubilee.

WE HAVE BECOME GOD'S PROPERTY BOUGHT AND PAID FOR –– (Lev 25:55) 'For the children of Israel are servants to Me; they are My servants whom I brought out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.
(Gal 4:4-7) But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, {5} to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. {6} And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, "Abba, Father!" {7} Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
(Rev 1:4-6) John, to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne, {5} and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, {6} and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
